Omugen Engineering LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Omugen Time Machine mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

 We collect only the information necessary to operate the App:

  • Account information — email address and optional display name, provided when you sign up.                            
  • Time entries — dates, hours worked, and optional notes you enter in the App.
  • Location data — GPS coordinates at the moment you clock in or clock out, only when you grant location permission. Location is never collected in the background.                                                                             
  • Device information — device type and operating system version, collected automatically for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.                                    
  • Subscription status — whether your organization has an active paid subscription, managed through Apple and RevenueCat.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the time tracking features of the App.
  • To allow managers to view and export their team's time entries.
  • To record clock-in and clock-out locations for attendance verification, visible to your organization's manager.
  • To process subscription payments and manage access to paid features.
  • To send transactional emails such as account confirmations and team invitations.

 We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We share data only with the service providers required to operate the App:

  • Supabase — secure cloud database and authentication provider. Your data is stored on Supabase servers.
  • RevenueCat — subscription management. Handles purchase verification with Apple.
  • Apple — payment processing for App Store subscriptions.  

 All third-party providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.                      

4. Location Data

Location access is requested only when you use the clock in or clock out feature. GPS coordinates are stored with your clock session and are visible to the manager of your organization. Location is never accessed in the background and is  never shared with third parties beyond secure database storage. You may deny location permission at any time in your device settings. Clock in and clock out will still work without       location — GPS coordinates simply will not be recorded.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal profile and authentication credentials are permanently deleted. Time entry records associated with your organization may be retained  by the organization owner for payroll and compliance purposes.  

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.  

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
